If you have an older telescope that has the 0.965" eyepiece fitting, then why not upgrade to 1.25" eyepieces by using this diagonal.This will push into your 0.965" fitting and will leave a 1.25" opening.
This is a 90 degree diagonal so only used on refractors, SCT's and Mak's.
