Brand new polarscope illuminator from Astronomy Shed. If you have an equatorial mount and you use the polarscope for alignment, then you will know annoying it is when you can't quite see the reticle. With this amazing new product, you can illuminate the reticle and also have brightness adjustment. Takes seconds to install and set up. Then you can do your polar alignment much easier and quicker.

Fit's ANY polar scope with approc 40mm exit hole, if yours is larger we can custom make a clip and send out a unit for your particular model (the vast majority are 40mm)

It illuminates the whole reticule, showing the orbit circle for polaris and the constellation etchings.

The unit requires 2 AA batteries (user supplied). Comes complete with full instructions with illustrations which make them easy to follow and understand.

As the bulb is an LED, the batteries will last a very long time. Every astronomer with an equatorial mount needs one of these!
