High quality Japanese manufactured Orthoscopics utilising the original design developed by Ernst Abbe. Baader designated the range 'Genuine Orthos' to distinguish them from other 'Orthos' not utilising Abbes original design.

Baader Genuine Orthos offer comfortable eye relief and a generous 47 degree field of view. Excellent colour correction and a field of view totally free of distortion has made this eyepiece design the choice of discerning planetary observers for years.

Hi-tech, multi-layer broadband optical coatings 'Phantom MC' featuring seven dielectric layers ensure highest light transmission and contrast. The Phantom MC performance beyond the visible wavelengths makes the GO's ideal for eyepiece projection photography and imaging.

Timeless design and excellent build quality is continued inside the eyepiece where proper baffling and blackened lens edges almost eliminate internal reflections maximising contrast.
