A large, well built all-rounder.

I bought this telescope to supplement my 80mm APO refractor, I wanted a large apeture refractor for visual and planetary work, but I am so impressed I have started using it more for deep sky work also.
When I took this thing out of the box, I was in awe of its size and weight, this is a serious acromat. It feels and looks extremely well built with a good selection of accessories including a nice 9x50 finderscope (which actually gives awesome views of Orion Nebula on its own!).
First light through this telescope was The Great Orion Nebula, I was extremely impressed. The first thing I noticed was the amount of nebulosity I haven't seen before, this was clearly due to the ample apeture and very forgiving focal ratio. The 4 stars in the trapezium were extremely easy to discern and were pretty sharp. Being an achromat refractor I expect some fringing around the bright stars but colour correction in this telescope is so good that they are minimal.
I recently started to use this telescope for planetary and lunar imaging using a Neximage 5 camera. During certain phases of the Moon where shadows are cast across craters, this telescope comes into a world in its own. The Moon does appear to have a yellow tint around the outer edges with this telescope, it increases and decreases with different magnifications used. Jupiter has a slight blue/voilet fringe at magnifications around 110-140x, this is almost removed by using a Baader Semi-Apo filter.
The drawtube is long on this scope, allowing all sorts of accessories to be used and still be able to get focus. It can be a bit tricky getting perfect focus with a rack and pinion focusser, but I overcame this by using a Skywatcher Auto Focus which fits perfectly.
Overall, I am looking forward to using this telescope a lot more. The focal ratio of F/8 is very versatile, allowing the scope to be used for both DSO and planetary. I've moved my guiding gear onto it and believe it will bring good views and images of some galaxies this Spring/Summer.
