This is a higher quality of glass than the green G series Hoya filters and will do both cameras and camcorders.

The Hoya filter Circular Polariser is suitable for standard focal length, and telephoto lenses. For Wide and Ultra wide angle lenses, consider using the Hoya Pro1 series or Hoya Pro1 Digital filters, which have thinner filter mounts to help avoid vignetting when using Polariser filters on wider angle lenses.
