The Panasonic FS25 makes it easy to take great photos. It features a 5x Leica DC Vario-Elmar zoom lens offering focal lengths of 29-145mm (35mm film equivalent) and exceptional clarity. The 29mm wide-angle end of the zoom allows you to capture scenery and interiors while the 145mm telephoto end brings distant subjects closer, all without any loss of image quality. As well as the Optical Image Stabilizer (O.I.S.) to reduce camera shake, clever Face Detection that not only detects faces but also helps reduce red-eye from flash and the new simple navigation interface, the Panasonic Lumix FS-25 also features several "Intelligent" tools. These include Intelligent ISO Control that detects subject movement and adjust ISO accordingly, Intelligent Scene Selector that automatically selects the optimal scene mode, Intelligent Exposure to correct the brightness level, and an Intelligent LCD function that increases the backlight brightness of the 3.0 inch LCD screen according to the intensity of the ambient light.
