Eyepiece-projection photography of the Moon and planets through any telescope, a Tele-Extender is required. The Variable Tele-Extender fits into the telescope's 1.25" eyepiece-holder, into which is inserted an eyepiece of typically about 26mm focal length (or any other eyepiece with diameter approx 35mm). The rubber eyecup will need to be removed to fit inside the adaptor. The 35mm camera body couples to the Tele-Extender by means of a T-Mount. The Variable Tele-Extender permits a range of projection by slacking off the 2 main grub screws and sliding the adaptor up and down.
The 1.25" nosepiece is also filter threaded to accept standard 1.25" filters.
You can also unscrew the 1.25" and use this as a direct connection for low power, wide field photography. See picture --->
Very versatile adaptor. If you are just getting into astrophotography, then this adaptor is for you!
