The high-end Barr and Stroud 20-60x84ED Deluxe Spotting Scope is designed for the demanding birdwatcher and nature observer.
A top quality Japanese S-FPL53 ED (extra low dispersion) glass element is utilised in the objective lens construction to provide images virtually free from chromatic aberrations, delivering high-fidelity true colour images.
Supplied with a very high quality 20-60x Super Wide Angle zoom eyepiece with twist-up eyecup. The eyepiece incorporates an aspheric lens surface which corrects for spherical aberrations. The eyepiece is held securely in a brass compression locking ring. The spotting scope will also accept virtually any 1.25" push-fit telescope eyepiece for exceptional versatility.
A Binoviewer is supplied In addition to the standard zoom eyepiece. The Binoviewer is installed in place of the standard zoom eyepiece for the comfort and convenience of binocular viewing. Supplied with two 32mm Plossl eyepieces and a 1.8x Barlow lens providing 28.8x magnification.
A photo lens adaptor, designed specifically for Digiscoping with the Sierra 20-60x84ED Spotting Scope is also supplied. This is a dedicated optical photographic adaptor which allows DSLR photography with the additon of a T-ring for your camera (T-ring not supplied)
The spotting scope is focused via a large wide knurled collar which is smooth, convenient and intuitive.
Features high quality phase coated Bak-4 prisms and fully multi-coated optics for maximum light transmission, providing bright, high contrast images. Waterproof and nitrogen filled for clear, fog-free viewing.
The spotting scope body is constructed from lightweight but robust magnesium alloy and covered in stylish rubber armouring to protect against shocks. Features a built-in rotating tripod port - a popular feature for target shooters, and a retractable lens shade.
