The Solar Viewers by Baader Planetarium are a high-quality product which is extremly well suited for naked-eye solar observations. The most-common use-case for them are solar eclipses.

Baader Planetarium is proud to present a new safety film for solar observation. It is made for the construction of high-quality objective-filters for observing the sun with telescopes, binoculars, camera or video-lenses

This thin film provides orange/yellow views of the Sun for observing sunspots. It comes in a 12" sheet so you can make your own cell and put the film inbetween. The film blocks out 99.999% of sunlight for safe observing.

This solar filter is made to thread into a threaded camera lens. The filtering material in the aperture of the filter is made with a polymer that is .002" thick. It is strong and durable.
